Hi! ayear ago I ordered phenomenal,I never used it, because my mersa went away with silver solution garlic and no sugar. However I would like to know if the water is still good it’s in my pantry? My son has a kidney stone that they say is 5. 8 according to the ultrasound. He is only 13years old and the doctor says it is at the tip of the ureter and he can’t bust it where it is or it will shatter the ureter. Do you know what type of stone it is ? There are 2 types. One is calcium and the other oxalate .
depending on which one will determine what dietary adjustments are to be made.
To lessen the risk of forming a new stone, it is very important that he drink at least three quarts (12 cups) of fluid throughout the day. In hotter weather, he may need to drink more to make up for fluid loss from sweating. This will help keep the urine less concentrated. Less concentrated urine reduces the risk of stone formation. Most of the fluid he drinks should be water. Try to have him drink a glass of water before bed and if he wakes during the night to use the bathroom, drink another glass before going back to bed.
